Recently, viewers of the hit Netflix series accused the 21-year-old star of having had "lip fillers" and othercosmetic work, with the claims spreading widely across social media.

No stranger to such scrutiny, Brown previously admitted in an interview that coping with constant negative chatter had taken a toll on her.

"She's 21 years old!!! I desperately hope she hasn't had surgery. So sad for our youth today. Was hoping younger women would send a different message. Just sad," wrote one netizen.

Last week, a viral screenshot from theStranger ThingsSeason 5 finale quickly turned into a meme across social media, as people argued that Millie Bobby Brown was just 20 when she filmed the new season but appeared to have "fuller lips," contrary to her past appearances on the show.

Comments like, "Eleven with lip fillers in the '80s, a revolutionary diva," and "She looks like a regular 20-year-old young woman with lip fillers," quickly circulated online.

Even when theEnola Holmesstardebuted a new festive lookwhile promoting the "Snow Bunny" collection from her clothing brand, Florence by Mills Fashion, around Christmas Eve, on both her personal Instagram and the brand's page, the accusations of lip fillers only intensified.

Several fans, instead of focusing on the outfit, directed their criticism toward her lips, writing, "WHY DID YOU MESS WITH YOUR LIPS? They were perfect!"

However, amid the renewed backlash, Millie'sBritish Vogueinterview, published last month on November 5 as part of the magazine's December 2025 issue, has resurfaced.

The cover story was titledMillie Bobby Brown: "Family Life? It's Just Endless Joy,"while the main cover line read,"The 21-year-old phenomenon on marriage, motherhood and making herself heard."

In the interview, when asked how she coped with negative commentary about her appearance, Brown revealed that it had taken a toll on her at times.

Addressing how journalists handled the controversy, Millie toldBritish Vogue, "Oh my God, what has she done with her face? Why has she gone blonde? She looks 60 years old!"

"I respect journalism. I love reading articles on my favourite people and hearing what they're up to. I understand that there's paparazzi, even though it's invasive, even though it feels like sh*t to me – I know that's your job…"

Millie also shared anInstagram videoon March 4, condemning people for constantly "dissecting" her physical appearance.

Reflecting on entering the industry at just 10 years old, she said she grew up "in front of the world," but people "can't seem to grow with me."

The video, which has since garnered 7.7 million likes, continued, "They act like I'm supposed to stay frozen in time, like I should still look the way I did onStranger ThingsSeason 1. And because I don't, I'm now a target."

She went on to call out article titles and journalists by name, adding, "This isn't journalism. This is bullying. The fact that adult writers are spending their timedissecting my face, my body, my choices, it's disturbing. The fact that some of these articles are written by women? Even worse."

Millie firmly expressed that she "refuse to apologize for growing up" and "refuse to make myself smaller to fit the unrealistic expectations of people who can't handle seeing a girl become a woman."

"I will not be shamed for how I look, how I dress, or how I present myself. We have become a society where it's so much easier to criticize than it is to pay a compliment… Let's do better. Not just for me, but for every young girl who deserves to grow up without fear of being torn apart for simply existing," the video concluded.

In her cover story, Millie also addressed the moment shecalled out reporters by name, explaining that it was a "realistic route" for her in an effort to "uplift and empower young people."

As for the current speculation, particularly surrounding her lips, Millie has not directly addressed the rumors.

However, the internet seems to have made up its mind, as one critic wrote, "I think she's trying to grow up too quickly. She has plenty of time ahead of her, and… it feel like she's rushing into adulthood rather than living at her age. I think she also tries not to look like a little kid by having all this work done to her face. My advice…..be young while you can. It goes away quickly."

Dec 29 (Reuters) - Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly are lowering prices of their top-selling obesity drugs Wegovy and Mounjaro in China, according to the Danish ​drugmaker and Chinese drug suppliers.

Novo did not give details on the new prices, ‌but media outlet Yicai reported earlier that list prices for the two highest dosages of Wegovy were cut by ‌48% to 987 yuan ($141) and 1,284 yuan per month respectively in some Chinese provinces.

"We can confirm that we are adjusting our prices of Wegovy in China," the Danish firm told Reuters in a statement.

"We believe this pricing adjustment in China will further help alleviate the treatment ⁠burden for patients and improve their ‌quality of life."

Lilly did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Prices for Lilly's Mounjaro would also decrease from January 1, according to ‍a WeChat account for a hospital in the eastern city of Nanjing posted late last week. It did not say how much prices would be slashed.

A platform for China's leading food delivery group Meituan ​listed a 10mg Mounjaro injector pen at a projected cost of around 445 yuan ($63), ‌down from 2,180 yuan.

Over 65% of China's population of around 1.4 billion could be overweight or obese by 2030, making it a rapidly growing market for weight-loss drugs.

Both drugmakers are competing with rivals including Innovent Biologics and face the prospect of further competition after Novo's patent on Wegovy's active ingredient semaglutide expires in 2026 in China and some other important markets.

Chinese ⁠drugmakers, including CSPC Pharmaceutical Group and Hangzhou Jiuyuan ​Genetic Biopharmaceutical Co, are developing their own versions of ​the drug.

Yicai, citing local procurement authorities, had reported that the Novo price cuts would be made in the southwestern Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Sichuan.

Novo ‍slashed Wegovy prices by ⁠up to 37% in India last month, as it looks to gain ground in another fast-emerging market for obesity treatments. Novo and U.S. rival Eli Lilly - both ⁠shifting towards cash-paying consumers - also agreed to cut U.S. prices in November.

A powerful winter storm swept across the central and eastern United States, knocking out power and snarling travel during one of the busiest stretches of the holiday season.

The wide-ranging storm brought blizzard conditions, strong winds, an ice storm and tornadoes and is being followed by extreme temperature drops that are plunging millions back into the throes of winter.

The storm adds to an already challenging travel period, with more than 100 million people expected to drive for end-of-year trips.

Three semi-trucks and at least 20 vehicles were involved in a major pileup on Interstate 75 in Detroit late Monday morning. Travelers faced bursts of snowy conditions and strong winds as the winter storm swept into the metro area. No injuries have been reported, according to the Michigan State Police.

At least one person died in a traffic crash on Interstate 35 in north-central Iowa Sunday, Iowa State Patrol spokesperson Alex Dinkla said. No additional details about the incident were provided, but whiteout conditions forced the road to close from Ames, Iowa, to the Minnesota border Sunday into Monday afternoon and caused a 14-vehicle crash on the roadway on Sunday.

There have also been hundreds of crashes in Minnesota since the storm began Sunday, including 31 with injuries, according to thestate patrol. Minneapolis-St. Paul has seen nearly 6 inches of snow and wind gusts over 30 mph.

Sunday and Monday were also expected to be two of the busiest air travel days of this holiday period,according to the Transportation Security Administration.

More than 9,000 flights within, into or out of the US on Monday have been delayed and about 850 were canceled after similar impacts Sunday, according toFlightAware. Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis-St. Paul are some of the major hubs that have been impacted by storms.

The storm's powerful winds and ice knocked out power to nearly 270,000 customers in the Great Lakes and Interior Northeast, most of them in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania, Monday evening, according toPowerOutage.us.

Parts of Michigan have received over 2 feet of snow. Marquette picked up over 27 inches: 11.5 inches on Sunday and 15.9 inches on Monday, both breaking daily records for the city.

As if a blizzard weren't enough, the storm's cold front also sparked a line of severe thunderstorms Sunday afternoon and evening, with damaging winds and a few tornadoes reported in parts of Illinois, including one that destroyed structures just outside of Decatur.

Northeast, Great Lakes battered with high winds, snow and ice Monday

The storm's wintry and windy side spread toward the eastern Great Lakes and northern New England on Monday morning. Parts of northern New England and northern New York had ice accumulations up to 0.5 inches thick.

Strong winds and snow caused challenging travel conditions from Lower Michigan to western New York and northwest Pennsylvania.

High wind warnings were posted across some of these areas on Monday, including Cleveland and Buffalo, New York. Wind gusts up to 60 mph hit most areas Monday afternoon, but hurricane-force gusts in downtown Buffalo reached 79 mph. That reading marked the city's strongest gust in more than 45 years, according to the National Weather Service.

The winter storm has departed New England, but winds behind the system will lock snowy conditions in over the Great Lakes snow belts into the New Year. Snow totals could reach 1 to 3 feet to the southeast of Lake Erie and east of Lake Ontario in western New York through the end of the week.

Extreme temperature change follows storm

Much of the central and southern US will go from 20 to 30 degrees above average this weekend to 10 to 15 degrees below average by Tuesday.

Dangerous wind chills as low as minus 30 degrees across parts of North Dakota and Minnesota early Monday made frostbite a real threat.

The return to colder, more seasonable conditions after the recent stretch of record-breaking springlike warmth is thanks to a frigid Arctic air mass moving in behind the winter storm.

Temperatures have dropped by as much as 55 degrees over 24 hours in Missouri, with more widespread drops of 25 or more degrees in a larger chunk of the Midwest and South.

Sunday also saw dramatic drops: In Springfield, Illinois, temperatures dropped from the 70s into the 40s in just a couple of hours.

The high temperature in St. Louis, Sunday afternoon was 78 degrees — an all-time December record. The temperature dropped 10 degrees in about 10 minutes as the cold front passed through the city, the National Weather Service reported. Eight hours later, St. Louis was experiencing snow and temperatures in the low 20s.

While winter storm conditions will abate, the reset to colder air will keep winter hazards in play as the holiday travel rush continues.

President Donald Trumpissued new warnings against Iran and Hamas after a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida on Monday to try to advance theceasefire deal that Trump brokered in Gaza.

Trump threatened Iran with unspecified consequences, saying Iran "may be behaving badly" and suggesting it was trying to rebuild nuclear sites after the U.S.struck three of themthis year.

"If it's confirmed, look, there will be consequences," he said. "Consequences will be very powerful, maybe more powerful than last time."

Iran swiftly responded to Trump's remarks.

Ali Shamkhani, an adviser to Iran's supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, said that "any aggression will receive a strong, immediate response that goes beyond what the attacker expects," the state-run Nour News agency reported.

Trump also said Hamas would have "hell to pay" if it didn't disarm to advance theU.S.-brokered peace plan, as he seeks to move into its second phase. He said Hamas, whichdidn't agree tothe demilitarization of Gaza that Trump laid out as a key point in his peace plan, will be given a "very short period of time" to disarm.

If it doesn't, Trump said, the consequences will be "horrible." He suggested that other countries — not necessarily the U.S. or Israel — would take action against the perpetrators of the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel, in which 1,200 people were killed and about 250 were abducted.

"If they say they're not going to disarm, those same countries will go and wipe them out," Trump said.

Israeli attacks in Gaza have killed more than 70,000 people since the war started, the Palestinian Health Ministry said in late November. The death toll has continued to rise despite the ongoing ceasefire.

Trump was overwhelmingly supportive Monday of Israel's efforts to advance the peace plan. He said that Israel had "lived up to the plan 100%" and that he wasn't concerned "about anything that Israel is doing."

Asked moments later whether he was concerned that Israelisettler violencecould undermine the peace plan, Trump said he and Netanyahu weren't on the same page about the West Bank.

"We have had a discussion, big discussion, for a long time on the West Bank. And I wouldn't say we agree on the West Bank 100%. But we will come to a conclusion on the West Bank," he said.

Trump didn't elaborate on what the leaders' differences were, but he said he believes Netanyahu will "do the right thing."

Ahead of their closed-door meeting at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Trump told reporters that they would discuss the need for Hamas to disarm, Iran's ballistic missile and nuclear programs, and Syria's new government.

Standing alongside him at the top of the meeting, Netanyahu praised Trump.

"I'll say it again and again and again, we've never had a friend like President Trump in the White House. It's not even close," he said. "And I think you can judge that by not merely by the frequency of our meetings, but by the content and the intensity."

Trump responded: "Well, I just want to say that it's very important who the prime minister and president of Israel is. We have a great relationship.

"He can be very difficult on occasion, but you need a strong man," Trump added. "If you had a weak man, you wouldn't have Israel right now. Israel would have been, you know, Israel, with most other leaders, would not exist today."

Netanyahu reiterated his praise of Trump after their meeting, announcing that Israel would award him the Israel Prize, the country's highest honor. Netanyahu said it would be the first time the prize has been awarded to a non-Israeli.

Monday's meeting comes one day after Trumphosted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyyat Mar-a-Lago as part of the U.S. bid to negotiate a peace deal with Russia.

While Trump has been working for an end to the war in Europe, progress in the Middle East has stalled.

TheIsrael-Hamas trucewent into effect in October, ending the two-year conflict in Gaza that followed the Oct. 7 Hamas-led terrorist attack on Israel.

But there has been little movement on the more complex second phase of the peace process, raising concerns that both sides are failing to take action to carry out the next phase.

More than 400 people have been killed in the Palestinian enclave since that agreement, local officials say, while Israel has accused Hamas of ceasefire violations, including the delayedreturn of hostage remains— with one body still to be handed over.

The U.N. Security Councilgave its approvalto Phase 2 ofTrump's 20-point peace planlast month, under which Israeli forces would withdraw from Gaza and Hamas would give up its weapons.

But few details have been publicly confirmed about the "Board of Peace" headed by Trump, which would help oversee the territory's governance, or the International Stabilization Force that would be deployed to Gaza.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this month that Washington was aiming to get the new governance bodies in place "very soon."

Rubio met with Netanyahu ahead of Netanyahu's sit-down with the president.

Going into the meeting with Trump, Netanyahu was expected to make the case that Iran's expansion of its ballistic missile program poses a threat that could necessitate swift action,NBC News reportedthis month.

Israeli officials have grown increasingly concerned that Tehran was expanding production of its ballistic missile program, which Israeli military strikes damaged this year, and are preparing to brief Trump about options to attack it again, according to a person with direct knowledge of the plans and four former U.S. officials briefed on the plans.

Netanyahu was expected to present Trump with options for the U.S. to join or assist in any new military operations, the sources said.

Asked by a reporter whether he would support an Israeli attack on Iran if it took steps toward advancing ballistic missiles or nuclear weapons, Trump appeared to suggest that any movement on the nuclear front would trigger an immediate response from the U.S.

"If they will continue with the missiles, yes. The nuclear, fast," Trump said. "One will be yes, absolutely. The other was we'll do it immediately."

Still, Trump indicated that diplomacy was still on the table, as well.

Even though the U.S. conducted strikes on Iran's major nuclear enrichment facilities ina joint operation with Israel in June, Trump has hinted recently he might be open to returning to talks with Tehran.

He was more firm on that front Monday, telling reporters that he was open to having those talks.
