Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige and Keke Palmer talk to PEOPLE about their roles in the provocative new movie I Love Boosters

Boots Riley's colorful new comedy (in theaters now), starringKeke Palmer,Taylour Paigeand Ackie, 34, as a trio of shoplifters of luxury fashion, required rolling with the punches and all-in commitment from its cast, they tell PEOPLE.

“We were worked hard,” quips Palmer, 32, recalling filming long days in Riley's native Bay Area, where the story is set, and Atlanta. Made in “true indie fashion,”I Love Boostersoften had its actors “just catching our breath,” she says.

“When we were in between stuff, we would either be together talking or try to get a moment to sleep or nap,” recalls Palmer.

“You were in your chair, passed out,” Paige, 35, tells her. “It was exhausting… We put in a couple 18-hour days.”

A scene involving Paige swapping places with an uncreditedRobin Thede— as a temporarily lighter-skinned version of Paige's character, able to get away with stealing a store's clothes — saw the actress ducking out of frame for hours on end. “I swear I slept like four hours,” theZolastar recalls, “on the floor.”

Yet at the same time, a movie with such ambition and big ideas — about capitalism, labor, the power of solidarity and creative theft — sparked “lots of thinking, lots of laughing,” as Paige says. “Deep talks, delirious talks.” (Or, as Palmer puts it, “gossipy.”)

“I peed on myself a couple times because I was pregnant and laughing,” recalls Paige, whowelcomedher son in May 2025. “I say they all helped to raise him in utero,” she quips. “He's so happy. And I swear it's because of you girls. It was so much love and joy [on set].”

Riley's quirks, on camera and off, set the tone of the filming experience. Ackie recalls “little rubber unicorns” that the filmmaker apparently left around the indie film's set. “I stole one,” she admits.

Ultimately,I Love Boostersalso proved to be a true indie in that traditional Hollywood studios likely wouldn't greenlight Riley's wild ideas. “Hopefully afterward, you go have discourse, go have disagreements,” says Paige of what she hopes audiences take away from the film.

“We have to bring back critical thinking and the ability to hold multiple truths and the ability to agree to disagree, but with all due respect,” she adds. “We need to bring back flaws, bring back getting it wrong, bring back growth.”

Felix Rosenqvist celebrated his Indy 500 win with his newborn daughter Stella, showing off their matching victory wreaths

On Monday, May 25, the race car driver and proud girl dad, 34, shared a snap onInstagramalongside his newborn daughter Stella, 4 weeks, twinning in matching victory wreaths. In the carousel, Rosenqvist continued to zoom in on the picture of the pair, settling on a close-up of his daughter's little foot, before showing off their matching wreaths.

"Not the baby-sized victory wreath 🌼😩🥇," he captioned the set of photos.

Earlier this month, Felix and his wife Emille shared the exciting news that they welcomed their baby girl together onInstagram. In the photos, the couple gave a glimpse into their first few moments as parents at St. Vincent Carmel's Hospital.

"On May 4th, 2026 our little Stella was born and our hearts doubled in size," they captioned the joint post. "Mom and baby are both very healthy and dad has never been more proud. Ready for our next chapter as a family of 3 ❤️."

The couple first announced that they were expecting a little one in their family back in November.

"MOM & DAD 🤍 !!!" they captioned their joint post, which showed pictures of them holding their sonogram in a photo booth, a snap of the loving couple embracing after finding out the news and a sonogram video of their baby.

Despite rain delays and race-halting crashes from competitors, Rosenqvist ended the Indy500 race with a photo finish win against David Malukas, narrowly beating him by 0.0233 seconds after passing him in the final second of the 110th running of the Indy 500 on Sunday, May 24.

“Massive thanks to the team,” said the Swedish driver, who is on the Meyer Shank Racing team, after the race. “We were the best car today. I felt like we were in all situations.”

Cars lapped the 2.5-mile oval track (with its famous brick finish line, ceremonially kissed by the victors). Many racing fans believe the track to be one of the most iconic, and with it, some of the indelible traditions from the race (run since 1911), which include a celebratory milk chug while wearing the Victory Lane Wreath.

Rosenqvist took homethe sterling silver Borg Warner trophy, which features sculpted likenesses of past winners. He also wins an undetermined amount of prize money. Last year’s record-breaking purse was over $20 million, taken home by Spanish driver Alex Palou, who was favored to win this year.

“It’s just unreal,” Rosenqvist said of his victory.

Monica Potter recalled working with the late Robin Williams in the 1998 comedy-drama Patch Adams.

Monica Potterfondly remembers her time working withRobin WilliamsinPatch Adams, sharing in a recent interview how closely connected the two were.

Potter and Williams starred in the 1998 comedy-drama that followed the true story of Hunter "Patch" Adams, a medical student who challenged the traditional healthcare system by using humor and compassion to treat patients. Williams, whodied by suicide in 2014at 63, portrayed Adams, and Potter costarred as a fellow medical student and Adams' eventual love interest.

While appearing on theStill Here Hollywoodpodcast, Potter shared how, while filming together, their many conversations made her feel the late actor "understood" her.

"He was very shy, and he was extremely sensitive. He was very funny, as we know, but I saw a part of myself in him," Potter said, adding that Williams agreed, telling the actress he'd found the "female version" of himself with her.

While Robin Williams' signature humor appears inPatch Adams, the film tackles challenging topics such as suicide and child molestation, as well. Potter's character Carin Fisher also meets a tragic end. While trying to help a disturbed patient, Fisher is killed by the patient in a murder-suicide.

Potter noted that working on such a film was "the only job I could have where you could go to work and be allowed to cry and not get fired."

"That's an emotion that we all have," Potter continued, adding that people are generally "taught to push that away."

Interestingly, she and Williams connected over the shared belief that "laughing and crying" are the same, with the actress telling Williams, "'Thank you. I've been saying that since I was a little kid.'"

"It's the same thing. It's an expression of how you're feeling. and he was the biggest empath I've ever met besides my dad," Potter added.

Another former costar of Williams who recently recounted his sensitivity wasSally Field, sharing howthe actor aided her when she learned of tragic newson the set ofMrs. Doubtfire.

While filming the 1993 comedy, Field found out that her father, who had been sick and was in a nursing home, was dying. TheRemarkably Bright Creaturesactress ultimately had to make the difficult decision of taking her father off life support. Once she returned to set, Williams quickly recognized Field was upset.

When Williams pulled his costar aside, Field initially told him she was fine but began to cry. "My father just died, and I was the one to say, 'Go ahead. Let him die,'" she told Williams at the time.

"And Robin turned around and said, 'That's it for the day, guys. We just wrapped here. We're done for the day. Get a few shots of the kids and maybe one of Mrs. Doubtfire, but Ms. Field's going home.'"

Fields said Williams then walked her off set. "That was Robin," she concluded.

Eni Popoola left her law firm job to pursue content creation full-time after her brand deals exceeded her salary

For years, Eni Popoola worked tirelessly to achieve her dream of becoming a lawyer — but once she got there, her dreams started to change.

The 31-year-old grew up in Queens, N.Y., before attending Harvard University for her undergraduate degree. From there, she spent a couple of years teaching before transitioning to law school at Columbia University.

Around that time, she started creating content and sharing her outfits on Instagram, under theusername Eni Given Sunday,inspired by a friend's comment on one of her weekend posts, "Oh, it's Eni given Sunday."

"I started creating content more seriously, but also more so just as a hobby while I attended law school, and things started to take off so much that I grew a community," Popoola tells PEOPLE.

As her account started gaining traction, she landed a job at a law firm. When she started accepting brand deals, however, she quickly realized she would have to leave her Big Law career.

"My law firm had an outside of work activity policy that said that we could not do any work — whether it was legal or non-legal — any work of any kind outside of work, and they viewed my partnerships with brands as a form of work," she explains. "I was at a crossroads, and I decided to leave that job because it wasn't really making me happy."

"It also seemed like the brand deals weren't the main issue. It seemed like the brand deals were the formal issue that got me, but that being a public figure online wasn't really something that the firm vibed with," she adds.

Popoola says that when these conversations were taking place, it "was the longest week of my life."

"I felt a level of certainty. I knew I had to leave the job right there in the meeting," she shares. "My first reaction is, 'Oh, this is it. I have to quit my job. It's happening now.' I say that because I had been a little restless and was having conversations with some of my friends about not being happy and wanting to do something I was actually excited about."

So, Popoola followed her gut and took a bet on herself — and it paid off.

"I stepped on faith and have been creating content for the past three years full-time," she says.

While she felt confident in her choice on a personal level, she was admittedly "nervous" because some of the identity she had built online centered on her career.

"I was very anxious about the fact that people were going to view my decision negatively, that I was going to lose the community that I had built, that people were going to be upset about yet another influencer leaving their full-time job to become a content creator," she shares. "Thankfully, I was proven wrong, and there are gonna be people who don't support your decision in any case, but the reaction was overwhelmingly positive."

While working in law, Popoola notes that she wasn't giving "career coaching advice," but instead was giving a glimpse into the "lifestyle as someone who works a really time-consuming, really demanding job."

"When I was in law school, I was telling people about my lifestyle as someone who was in law school without getting into the nitty-gritty of what I was learning in class," she explains.

However, since the bulk of her content was still lifestyle-based rather than rooted in the actual practice of law, she says that it "made the transition a little bit smoother."

"My lifestyle looked a little different now that I wasn't spending 10 hours a day in an office. Now I was creating my own office at home and figuring out how to balance working for myself with also having time to do some of the things that I would wanna do outside of work," the content creator shares.

The first few days were admittedly tricky, as she wanted to be the one who told her community about the big change. Hervideo announcing that she was switching careerswent viral, for both good and bad reasons, and Popoola says she had to take a few days away from social media.

When the chatter died down, she was able to "get right back into it."

"Working that job really impacted my ability to film, to work with brands, to do all of that fun stuff. Now that I was free, I was like, 'Oh, I'm hitting the ground running. I have this time now to film my videos, to do beauty tutorials, to do fashion videos,'" she says. "Everything that I felt like I didn't have time to do because I had to prioritize a full-time job, I immediately dove right back into it."

Popoola makes it clear, however, that she was already bringing in income from brand deals before quitting her job.

"If I were not in a position financially where the deals had exceeded my yearly salary, I would not have left that job," she tells PEOPLE. "At the time that I left my job, in March of 2023, the number of deals that I had contracted for up until that point had exceeded my yearly salary at that job."

She had also been turning down events and campaigns due to her job, so she felt confident that there would be even more opportunities to earn.

Now, she says, "24/7, I'm working on something."

"The issue was never working. I actually like to work. I don't have a problem with working. I have to like what I'm working on," she explains. "It's funny because people are like, 'Clearly you left Big Law because the hours are grueling and you would be working all the time.' It's the case now that I'm still working all the time."

"I wake up in the morning, and I'm thinking about content that I might have edited the previous night, and is there something that I could have done better? I'm always thinking about content ideas, editing, drafting or filming. So there is always work to be done."

Since leaving her law firm, Popoola says her content has evolved, specifically her fashion.

"My lifestyle has changed. When I was in Big Law, my lifestyle was focused on the classic business casual. My wardrobe wasn't very exciting," she shares. "Even if I could make business casual exciting, at the entry level at a large corporate firm, you're taught not to draw attention to yourself. So you don't wanna wear the bright colorful suits or the fancy things because you just wanna lay low and get the job done."

Now her wardrobe is "a lot more colorful, and I don't just mean that in a literal sense."

"I mean that in terms of the types of pieces that I can have and what I can wear and the outfits that I can put together and how I can style things. And as a result, I have a lot more fun in my wardrobe, but also my style has evolved to match the lifestyle that I'm living now," Popoola says.

Don Jr., 48, and Bettina, 39, are reportedly breaking a Trump family tradition this weekend and opting for a small Bahamas wedding ceremony, in part to keep the celebration private and intimate, insiders previously told PEOPLE.

According to a Palm Beach source, the pair wanted to tie the knot before events for the nation's 250th anniversary pick up, and before the disruptive summer and fall storms in South Florida and the Caribbean begin.

“July 4 belongs to America, and early fall is not a good time to plan a wedding in South Florida or on the islands due to questionable bad weather, so they decided to do it now in a place they both love,” the source said.

The pair alreadyquietly made their union officialin a ceremony held in Florida on Thursday, May 21, according to a Florida marriage license obtained by PEOPLE.

The document, which they applied for on May 14, bears Don J. and Bettina's signatures and indicates that the couple was married at Bettina's twin sister Kristina Anderson McPherson's home in West Palm Beach, Fla.
