Pop star Jessie J has opened up about her late friend and bodyguard, Dave, in an emotional Instagram post, seven years after his death.

The singer shared a touching video that highlights their special moments together, alongside a heartfelt caption expressing hergriefand love.

"I hate how final death is. I would give anything to post a more recent or new video of us," Jessie J wrote in her post. "But instead I will watch these on repeat until we meet again big bro. You know what it is. I miss you so much. I talk about you to Sky and tell him about our travels. He says 'Uncle Dave lives in the clouds and he loves you so much.' If you hear me talking to you today, come say hi. 7 years."

The video included clips of happy memories with Dave, such as celebrating hisbirthdayduring concerts, dancing together backstage and playful moments on a plane.

Jessie J has described Dave not just as her bodyguard, but as a close confidant and steady presence during her rise to fame.

In an interview withThis Morning, she explained, "He was the one I'd phone and be like, 'Bro, I need to go for a walk, this is too much for me.' Losing him still affects me deeply today."
